To encourage as many students and young researchers as possible to participate, iSMART offers the following awards and scholarships, through which participants may receive a USD 100 prize<\/strong> and have the USD 1,390 publication fee waived<\/strong> for publication in the journal City and Built Environment<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/em> by Springer Nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A: Best Paper Awards<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conditions for receiving the Best Paper Award<\/strong> are as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. The full paper must be submitted to City and Built Environment<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/em> by June 30, 2026<\/strong>, and must successfully complete peer review and be accepted before the iSMART Conference (September 28-30, 2026<\/strong>).
    If the paper is accepted, the article processing charge (APC) of USD 1,390<\/strong> will be fully covered by the organizers of the iSMART Conference.
    Once your paper has been accepted, please notify iSMART Organizing Committee before selecting the APC payment option. We will verify your eligibility and provide further guidance regarding the award process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Please make sure to provide the manuscript number of your submission to City and Built Environment<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Awardees must give an onsite presentation and attend the Awards Ceremony to be eligible for the Best Paper Award<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Best Paper Award recipients will receive:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. An award certificate and 100USD<\/strong> prize will be given to the author or a representative of the author group at the welcome party.
    2. The best papers will be published in the SPRINGER journal     City and Built Environment<\/a><\/strong><\/em>. The article processing charge (APC) of 1390USD<\/strong> for publishing the paper will be afforded by the organizers of the iSMART conference.

    B: Best Presentation Award<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. The Best Presentation Awards will be given to one presenter from each general session, based on the recommendations by session chairs.
    2. An award certificate will be given to the Best Presentation at the farewell dinner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
