Conference Overview

The International Conference of iSMART aims to bring together researchers, experts, professionals, and policymakers from around the world to explore the intersection of sustainable development and smart technologies in the context of Coastal/Maritime architecture and related fields. The conference seeks to foster discussions, exchange knowledge, and promote innovative solutions to address the challenges of creating a sustainable and technologically advanced Coastal/Maritime environment.

Our forthcoming conference, iSMART 2025, will be co-hosted by Qingdao University of Technology (QUT) in September 2025. QUT is a comprehensive university committed to advancing education, scientific research, social responsibility, and technological innovation. With a strong focus on academic excellence and industry collaboration, QUT plays a vital role in promoting sustainable urban development and engineering innovation. The university is widely recognized for its significant contributions to the fields of green building, civil engineering, and environmental science, and maintains robust partnerships with government agencies, industries, and international research institutions.

Conference Objectives:

Exploring Sustainable Development in Coastal/Maritime Architecture: The conference will delve into the principles and practices of sustainable development in the Coastal/Maritime domain, focusing on sustainable design, construction, and operations of Coastal/Maritime structures, coastal development, and marine conservation.
