Conference Overview
The International Conference of iSMART aims to bring together researchers, experts, professionals, and policymakers from around the world to explore the intersection of sustainable development and smart technologies in the context of Coastal/Maritime architecture and related fields. The conference seeks to foster discussions, exchange knowledge, and promote innovative solutions to address the challenges of creating a sustainable and technologically advanced Coastal/Maritime environment.
Our forthcoming conference, iSMART 2024, will be held in December 2024 by Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS), a comprehensive university committed to contributing to society in education, research, social services and innovative development. ITS is renowned for its reputation for excellence in teaching and research, and has significant influence in supporting innovative development in industry and maritime, with strong industry-university-research collaborations.
Conference Objectives:
- Exploring Sustainable Development in Coastal/Maritime Architecture: The conference will delve into the principles and practices of sustainable development in the Coastal/Maritime domain, focusing on sustainable design, construction, and operations of Coastal/Maritime structures, coastal development, and marine conservation.
- Smart Technologies for Coastal/Maritime Applications: Participants will discuss and showcase the latest advancements in smart technologies, including IoT, AI, data analytics, automation, and robotics, and how these technologies can be leveraged to enhance the efficiency, safety, and sustainability of Coastal/Maritime projects and operations.
- Marine Environmental Conservation: The conference will emphasize the importance of protecting marine ecosystems and biodiversity, addressing pollution, climate change impacts, and developing innovative approaches to promote the sustainable use of marine resources.
